COVID-19 Business Update

As COVID-19 has become a global pandemic and we are adjusting to sudden changes in our daily lives, our thoughts remain with those who are sick, families who have lost loved ones, and our intrepid health care providers and those on the front lines of this battle. Our doctors, nurses and other health care workers face daily risks, and we are grateful to them for the sacrifices they are making to keep us safe and healthy.

At Diamond Hill, our primary goals remain unchanged: protecting the health of our associates, their families and our greater community, and continuing to deliver great outcomes for clients.

We are now several weeks into a full transition to a work-from-home model. We have been pleased by the results thus far thanks to the diligence, creativity and foresight of team members across a range of functions. Our associates will be working from home through April and potentially longer—and we are ready.

Our investment team has the support and systems they need to remain focused on positioning portfolios to deliver great outcomes for clients. They are conducting research in much the same way they would in the office and leveraging conferencing tools to interact seamlessly. We are fortunate to have a seasoned team of career research analysts—they collectively have lived through a number of market dislocations and remain disciplined to our philosophy and process.

Communication is more critical than ever, and we are using a variety of platforms to keep engaged and deliver timely updates from our investment team.
