Meet our green team

Our employee-driven green team works to develop and implement environmental sustainability initiatives for Diamond Hill associates to practice in the office, in the community and at home.

Thanks to our green team, we have made several improvements to the way we work, helping reduce our energy consumption and reduce waste by creating alternate, environmentally-friendly options for daily habits.

Examples include:

  • Reduced paper usage by going digital whenever possible and working with clients and vendors to encourage digital-only statements and invoices
  • Introduced an in-office smart water dispenser which prevents the use of 15,000 plastic bottles, saves 3.3 tons of CO2 and protects 3.9 acres of US forest, annually
  • Reduced single-use items by introducing reusable, dishwasher-safe tableware in our office kitchen
  • Facilitates onsite collection of old batteries, light bulbs and clothing donations

Working life

We foster an environment where associates value coming to the office and interacting with colleagues — at work and beyond.

  • Dual technology setup in the office and at home
  • Paid downtown Columbus parking
  • Wellness program with subsidized gym membership at our local gym
  • Catered lunch twice a week
  • Company-sponsored events such as happy hours, sporting events and family outings
  • Season tickets to the Columbus Clippers for our associates and their families
  • Associate-led impact groups include the appreciation team, DEI resource group, green team, parents resource group and the wellness team
  • Commitment to collaboration that supports flexible work arrangements
  • Benefits of a boutique firm — a non-hierarchical organization with easy access to people and information
