Jayant serves as a research analyst for Diamond Hill and joined the firm in 2013.

Prior to joining Diamond Hill, Jayant was an associate product development engineer with Medtronic from 2007 to 2010. From 2004 to 2005, he was a research associate with the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. From 2002 to 2004, Jayant was a project engineer with Insultec International Pvt. Ltd.

Jayant has a bachelor of technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, a master of science in biomedical engineering from the University of Toledo, and a master of business administration from the London Business School.
