Diamond Hill Announces Addition of Anthony Philipp as Co-Portfolio Manager on Small-Mid and Mid Cap Strategies
COLUMBUS, Ohio – 17 Dec 2025 – Effective 31 Dec 2025, Anthony Philipp will join Chris Welch as portfolio manager of the Diamond Hill Small-Mid and Mid Cap strategies. Mr. Philipp has served as assistant portfolio manager since joining the firm in March 2024. Mr. Welch will continue to serve as portfolio manager with Mr. Philipp.

Chris Welch, CFA serves as portfolio manager for Diamond Hill’s Small-Mid and Mid Cap strategies. He joined Diamond Hill in 2005 and has 30 years of investment industry experience. Mr. Welch has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Yale University (summa cum laude).
Anthony Philipp serves as assistant portfolio manager for Diamond Hill’s Small-Mid and Mid Cap strategies. He joined Diamond Hill in 2024 and has 17 years of investment industry experience. Mr. Philipp has a Bachelor of Science in engineering (Eta Kappa Nu Honors) from the University of Illinois and a Master of Business Administration (Dean’s Honors and Distinction) from Columbia University.
