Below Investment Grade is a Bond Quality Rating of BB, B, CCC, CC, C or D.

5B: Issuers rated BBB or equivalent by one rating agency and BB by another rating agency.

4B: Issuers rated BBB or equivalent by one rating agency and single-B by another rating agency.

Split Rated: Securities for which rating agencies assign different rating categories.

Fallen angels are defined as securities downgraded from investment grade to high yield. Rising stars are defined as securities upgraded from below investment grade to investment grade.
